NordicMeteo combines open weather and place data with its own presentation. Source credits do not imply an official partnership or endorsement. Check the timestamp shown with each weather product.

Forecasts: MET Norway

Forecasts are based on data from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, MET Norway, under CC BY 4.0. NordicMeteo formats, translates and summarises the data; these changes are our responsibility.

Place names: GeoNames

Place names and coordinates use the GeoNames geographical database under CC BY 4.0. Records are selected and formatted for NordicMeteo. Coverage and names can change; corrections are welcome.

Warnings: Meteoalarm and EUMETNET

European warning information uses Meteoalarm/EUMETNET data under CC BY 4.0, originating from participating national meteorological services. Always read the issuing authority, validity and full warning text. The absence of retrieved warnings does not prove safe conditions.

Icelandic radar

Icelandic radar material is provided by the Icelandic Meteorological Office, Veðurstofa Íslands. Its terms allow private and commercial data reuse unless stated otherwise, with credit to the institution and the download date. The displayed retrieval date records our download; separate restrictions may apply to particular material.

Photograph and optional map

The Sognefjord photograph is by Acediscovery, from Wikimedia Commons, under CC BY 4.0. It has been resized and converted to WebP; it is a scenic photograph, not a current weather image. WeatherScope is an optional external map subject to its provider's terms. Its inclusion does not grant a licence to copy its maps.

Reuse and corrections

When reusing licensed material, credit its source, link to the applicable licence and identify changes where required. Follow the original product's conditions. NordicMeteo does not claim ownership of the underlying open datasets. Report source or attribution errors to info@olphy.com.
